Updated: November 22, 2012
A taxi driver is hospitalized after a shooting last night in Lawton.

Police say the victim, 58 year-old Robert Gillan was dropping two men off in the 69-hundred block of Southwest 70th just before midnight last night. As he was making change for the men he was shot once in the back of the neck.

Police say both men jumped from the taxi and ran off. Gillan tried to chase the men but police say he was shot again. Officers say Gillan got back in the cab and drove himself to Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

No arrests have been made at this time. Police say Gillan was not seriously injured. He was held at the hospital for observation.
