In college, I interned with the NBC affiliate in Austin and had the chance to cover the 2007 Texas Legislative Session. I graduated from the University of Texas in May 2007 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
I moved to Wichita Falls in July 2007, and joined the KFDX news team in September 2008. In April 2011, I became a co-anchor for KFDX-3 News Today. On top of anchoring each morning, I also encourage residents of our area to get active with Fit in Texoma Reports.
My husband James and I have a dog named Bud. He was adopted from the Wichita County Humane Society.
I'm involved with many volunteer activities here in Texoma. I serve on a number of boards including Downtown Wichita Falls Development, North Texas State Hospital Volunteer Services Council and Backdoor Theatre.
In my free time I love taking trips, going shopping, listening to live music and watching UT Football! I love living in Texoma, and have made so many wonderful friends here!
