The two remaining suspects accused of stealing "Miss Silver Buckle," the fiberglass horse that used to sit in front of Tangles Salon in Parker Square appeared in the 78th District Court today.

Alyssa Nicole Wilkinson and Kristina Woeller are each charged with theft of property under 20-thousand-dollars. Wilkinson accepted a one- year pre-trial diversion contract, which is similar to probation. If she abides by the terms of the agreement, the charge will be completely dismissed.

Woeller's case, though, will go to trial. Police say Miss Silver Buckle was found thanks to a crime stoppers tip at Wilkinson and Woeller's apartment. She was sawed into pieces and found concealed in the closet.

Miss Silver Buckle was undergoing repairs, but now, Tangles staff say the repair man won't return their calls, so they'll have to get a new statue.

By the way, two other men were convicted of stealing the statue.
