Police say a driver who led them on a mile-long chase is now charged for being in possession of a large quantity of drugs.

20-year-old Jacob Allen Brasket is charged with possession of marijuana, over five pounds. Officers say Brasket continually failed to signal while turning and didn't stop when they activated their car sirens.

They say the vehicle eventually stopped, and a male passenger ran off -- but that Brasket continued driving, but eventually stopped. He was arrested for evading arrest.

Upon a search of Brasket's vehicle, authorities say they found five pounds of marijuana hidden inside a backpack in the car's backseat.
