A 21 year old Wichita Falls woman is dead after an overnight one car rollover accident.

DPS Trooper Tony Fulton says the call came in just before 2 a.m.

It happened on FM 172 near Chapman Road and Cindy Lee Drive in Clay County.

Fulton says a Chevy SUV, driven by 21 year- old Megan Elizabeth Panter, was westbound on FM 172.

He says Panter's vehicle left the roadway to the right and ran into a fence.

Panter overcorrected her vehicle, causing it to overturn and roll one-and-a-half times.

Panter was not wearing a seatbelt.

She was thrown from the vehicle and died from her injuries.

Although Fulton says there is no indication that alcohol was involved in this crash an autopsy will be performed.
