Spencer Williams

By: KFDX
Updated: December 6, 2012
Spencer Williams joined the KFDX news team as a New Media Producer/Reporter in November of 2012. He is relatively new to the exciting world of News, but has always been fascinated by it. After living most of his early years in Forney, TX, he attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a minor in Communication.

Spencer is a natural performer, always seeking an opportunity to bring a smile to a person's face. When he has free time, Spencer performs in local theatrical productions, watches and laughs at terrible movies, and plays one of the many board games in his collection.

Spencer married his best friend Lara in June of 2011. They are expecting their first child, Emma, in April of 2013.

Spencer says that one of the most enjoyable things about his job is being able to see what types of stories are trending in Texoma. Observing what is popular and what is not is a fascinating lesson for him. Spencer feels very blessed to have this job and happy to be a part of the KFDX team where he already feels like a part of the family.
