Santa's Great Candy Cane Scramble

   Santa Claus and his elves in disguise ... those folks in the Parks and Recreation Department ... are inviting everyone to Christmas in the park. It's Saturday at Scotland Park, next to Scotland Elementary, which is located at 1415 N. 5th street. Santa arrives at 12:50pm on the Parks and Recreation trail train to announce the start of  "Santa's great candy cane scramble". The scramble starts at 1pm on the dot. It's for children ages 2 through second grade. The entire event is free. In addition to Santa's visit, there will be train rides, arts and crafts, carnival games and a live petting zoo.
