A former Fort Sill soldier is sentenced to 80 years in connection with a home invasion in Lawton last year.

Kevon Mclaren is among 4 soldiers charged in connection to the robbery and kidnapping case. His 15 felony counts include robbery with a weapon, kidnapping and shooting with intent to kill. Four people were shot in the robbery, two in the head. All survived.

Lawton police say Mclaren was the one who fired the shots. They say he and the accomplices bound 6 people with duct tape, stole guns, phones and other items. Mclaren was also found guilty of the robbery of an E-Z Gas Station.

Today he was sentenced to a total of 80 years on 15 counts connected to the home invasion, to be servied concurrently, meaning a total of 35 years. He also received a $1,000 fine on each count. He also received a 10 year sentence to be served separately for the gas station robbery.

Sentencing for one other soldier found guilty last week is pending and another soldier is set for trial in January.
