The strong scent of chemicals results in Wichita County deputies sending four people to jail on drug charges.

Shortly before 10 p.m. Wichita County Sheriff David Duke says a deputy smelled chemicals in the 2200 block of Taylor Street.

A canine unit was called in and Duke says the dog nose led them to a house at 2214 Taylor Street.

The sheriff says inside they found four people along with methamphetamine, a meth lab and drug paraphernalia.

Deputies arrested 54 year old Rodrick Dale Sargent for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and several other charges.

His bond is $100,000.

Thirty-six old Richard Kevin Sepulveda was booked on the same charge.

But Sheriff Duke says his attempt to run away got him tasered and busted on the additional charge of evading arrest.

His bond is $60,000.

Twenty year old Cole Randal Likens is charged with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance.

His bond is $50,000.

Twenty-four old Latesha Marie Brown was the fourth person arrested.

Sheriff Duke says she was rushed to the hospital to have her stomach pumped after swallowing two grams of meth.

Her bond amount has not been set.
