Investigators continue to comb through the crash site of the plane believed to have been carrying Latin singer Jenni Rivera.

She died along with six other people on board the US registered Learjet. Debris, including photos, clothes and shoes, was scattered across the site in Northern Mexico.

It's not clear what caused the plane to go down early Sunday shortly after it left Monterrey where Rivera had performed in a sold-out concert.

Born in Long Beach, California, to Mexican immigrants, Rivera sold some 15 million records in her career, won several awards and received several Grammy nominations.
