Some employees at Hospice of Wichita Falls left the office today and hit the streets all to support their cause.

The wellness program employees ran and walked around their facility for two hours this afternoon during their reindeer relay.

Nine different teams competed one for each of Santa's reindeer.

The event was all to promote fitness and raise funds for their annual tree of lights campaign.

"The community supports us so greatly and we want to show the community that we also support the mission and that this doesn't go towards our operations it goes towards taking care of those patients don't have a funding source so that they get the care that they deserve," said Rob Propp, from Hospice of Wichita Falls Human Resources.

As of about 30 minutes ago hospice is 42 thousand dollars shy of its goal for the Tree of Lights Campaign.
