Many more local children still need you and your generosity to help make their Christmas merry.

The Angel Tree at Tangles Salon is adorned with hand-crafted reindeer made by the art teacher at Sam Houston Elementary School. And on the back of each reindeer is the name of a Sam Houston student who, without your help, might be empty-handed on Christmas day.

Organizers say they need just a few more gift-givers to make the season bright. Robin Cook, owner of Tangles Salon said, "Christmas is a time of giving. This is that special time of year when you want to give, because it's always better to give than to receive."

If you can help out, go to Tangles Salon in Parker Square and pick a reindeer from the Angel Tree. The child's wishes and clothing sizes are on the back. All gifts must be wrapped and returned to the salon by December 18th.
