One accident greatly changed the life of a young man in Texoma.
It happened July of 2010.
Josh Siple was on the Wilson overpass when the car he was in was struck by a drunk driver.
Josh Siple has spent the last two years in hospital rooms and nursing homes recovering from that very tragic accident.
But this Christmas they received a gift, better than any one found under the Christmas tree.
It's been a step by step process for Josh Siple.
For over two years... He's been recovering from a serious accident...
In July 2010, the vehicle josh was in was struck by a drunk driver... Putting him into a level 3 coma... And killing his wife.
But this holiday season, Josh is getting the the best gift he could ask for.
"It feels great, fantastic, awesome, wow, I can't believe I am finally home," said Siple.
And siple's mother Piann is also gleaming at the sight of her son back under her roof.
"Every time I look at him I see a miracle he is not suppose to be here with us but he is," said Piann.
Home, where his family is spending its time together playing board games and laughing.
Making small strides one day at a time, all in hopes of one thing.
"I just want to walk again, so I can do without this thing that I sit on," he said.
"That is going to take a lot of intensive surgery but I do believe he will be able to walk again," she said.
But until that day comes they'll continue to celebrate their gift, a true Christmas homecoming.
