The American Cancer Society Could Use Your Help !

By: Karel Davis
Updated: January 1, 2013
Undergoing chemotherapy can be a draining experience ... just ask any cancer patient. Most of the time, they're worn out ... so getting around is exhausting. But The American Cancer Society offers a way of helping these patients through a program called "Road To Recovery". Volunteers drive patients to and from chemo and radiation treatments or doctors appointments. But now, there is an urgent need for volunteers. If you can spare a day or two, each month, for this type of volunteering service, please call The American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
