Ford Focus Wins Top Car of 2012

Ford Motor Company has a lot to celebrate this New Year's Day. It's popular Focus model has been named the top-selling vehicle worldwide for the year 2012. 

Company officials say Focus registrations totaled nearly 738-thousand through September. But, an official year-round number won't be tallied until final sales figures are in. 

Ford also said it was on track to sell more than two million vehicles in the US in 2012. It's the second year in a row Ford has topped the number. The automaker is the only brand to surpass two million in US sales since 2007.
