"Field of Dreams" Is Sold

 Baseball fans and movie fans will get a kick out of this ... the Iowa field that became the backdrop for the movie "Field of Dreams" belongs to a new owner. Investors group "Go The Distance Baseball LLC"  closed on the purchased last week after reaching a deal with owners. The final selling price: $3.4 million plus interest. The new owners plan to transform the Iowa landmark into a 24- field youth baseball and softball tournament complex called All-star Ballpark Heaven.
