An official determination is made in the death of a man jailed in the murder of a Cotton County woman.
Richard Goss with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says a medical examiner confirms David Daniel committed suicide in his Cotton County Jail cell last month.
Daniel was charged with first degree murder in the January death of 52-year-old Teresa Speir.
Officials say a jail trustee serving breakfast found Daniel's body early one mid-December morning.
They say it appears Daniel used his underwear tied to his cell door to hang himself.
