Students at Fain Elementary School are taking a lesson on bullying, drug awareness, and test preparation from a special guest.

Nancy Burks Worcester took on some serious subjects, but with the help of her puppets made it fun for the kids.

Worcester is a ventriloquist with 20 years of experience.

Teachers say her show made students eager to listen and to learn.

"I think the animation and her voice really help the children to listen and really participate in what she is doing," said Jana Lane, a Kindergarten teacher at Fain.

Worcester held several shows throughout the day catering to the different grade levels at Fain Elementary.

Throughout the next two weeks she'll be taking her show to six other WFISD schools.
