Wichita Falls ISD students took a field trip today to learn the fun sided of science and math.
Students camped out in this TAME trailer in the Hirschi High School parking lot.
TAME stands for Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering and inside, students got to take part in all types of fun things.
Eight hands-on stations were set up to show them careers that involve math and science.
Those stations ranged from power distribution to robotics to weather.
And coordinators say getting them interested now can have a positive impact on their lives.
"When they see these things, perhaps that will help some of them to say hey, I want to do something in life like that and that will give them the impetus to do well in math and science," says Ed Downing, TAME chapter chairman.
The TAME trailer is being sponsored by 344th Recruiting Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base.
