Lawton PD Investigating Its First Homicide of 2013

Lawton Police Department is investigating its first homicide of the year. Yesterday police were called to a house at 2602 Northwest 19th Street.

There they found the body of 35-year-old Sarah Mccoy dead inside from an apparent gun shot wound. Police say Mccoy's relatives called after they could not make contact with her. 

But after arriving, polce say Mccoy's 1999 maroon Buick Lesabre is currently missing from her home. Police are holding a press release on this homicide later this afternoon.
