It's been a whirlwind of emotions for Ron Breberg. His wife Nancy has been through a lot, too.

"You get pretty nervous when you're afraid you'll lose your wife," says Ron. "But she's doing as good as can be expected."

On Friday night, Nancy was making her way from Centerville, Minnesota to St. Louis Park, but somehow became lost and found herself driving down a road in Plymouth. It's then when her car slid off the road and into a pond.

"The vehicle was on its side, was not running and all the windows were closed," said Officer Melissa Johnson with the Plymouth Police. "She was unable to exit the vehicle on her own."

The car, hidden from passing motorists, sat in the pond half submerged with Nancy hanging in her seatbelt. She hung on until a passing cyclist spotted the vehicle at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday and called police.
