Testimony is underway in 89th District Court after prosecutors and defense attorneys work a day-and-a-half to pick an jury for a sexual assault trial.
Forty-five year-old Efrain Muniz, of Wichita Falls, is charged with aggravated sexual assault.
Today police officers who responded to the scene of the alleged assault testified.
They say in February 2011, they reported to a home in the 21-hundred block of Avenue E and had to kick the door open to make entry.
An officer said they heard a woman screaming for help.
The victim told officers that Muniz put his right forearm to her neck, cutting off her airway, and threatened to kill her if she didn't comply with the assault.
    Testimony continues tomorrow morning.
