WFPD Finds Suspected Meth Lab on Avenue F

A strange odor leads Wichita Falls police to a suspected meth lab.

Around 8:30 last night, police received the call about the odor in the 2100 block of Avenue F. When they arrived at the home, they located material used to manufacture meth in a shed behind the home, as well as a suspected so-called "shake and bake" meth lab. That's where cold pills are mixed with chemicals in a plastic bottle.

Officials say the contents will be sent off for analysis. No arrests have been made at this time, but police are still investigating.
