7-11 Offers Free Slurpee for One Can Food Item

By: Melissa Foy
Updated: January 16, 2013

7-11's slurpee, the frozen, flavored, favorite drink of many, turns 46 this year. And 7-11 wants to give you a free slurpee for helping out those in Wichita County who are in need of food.

To help the Wichita Falls area food bank stock its shelves, all 7-11 stores in wichita county want you to bring in canned goods to the stores. Those canned food items will be donated to the food bank. And if you donate, you'll get a free slurpee. This promotion runs through January 19th.

Plus this weekend, you can get a hot dog, chips, and a canned soda for just one dollar. All that money will also go to the food bank. The dollar promotion is available at the 7-11 on Maurine Street on Friday 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. as well as the Southwest Parkway location on Saturday from nine a.m. until three 3 p.m.
