Former New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is indicted today by a Federal Grand Jury. Nagin was charged with 21 counts of bribery, conspiracy to deprive citizens of hones services, money laundering, wire fraud and filing false tax returns.

The federal indictment accuses Nagin of accepting more than 160-thousand dollars in bribes and gratuities from contractors while the city recovered from Hurricane Katrina.

Two business men have pleaded guilty to paying bribes to the 56-year old former mayor. Both are expected to testify if Nagin's case goes to trial.
