Oklahoma Unemployment on the Decline

The rate for most areas in Oklahoma is on the decline in the last year according to the most recent jobs report for the Sooner State.

Comanche County has one of the highest rates at 6.4%, but that's down from 7% a year ago. Stephens County had the lowest rate in this area at 4%. Cotton County had a rate of 4.3%, Tillman 4.5% and Jefferson County's rate fell from 6.7% to 5.1%.

The Lawton metro area also had the highest rate while Tulsa had 5.1% unemployment and Oklahoma City 4.5%.
