Get prepared for some angelic sounds from the African Children's Choir. They are in town once again for their annual tour. But this time you have two chances to hear them.

Organizers with the choir and members of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church spent the afternoon setting up for tonight's concert.
The choir will perform selections of song and dance from traditional spirituals to rhythmic gospel favorites. Organizers say they are happy to give Texomans two chances to see the choir perform.

Kayla Kumbier, Choir 39 Tour Leader said, "We do this to build into these children's lives and we are building up ambassadors for Africa, they come over to America raise awareness for Africa's most venerable and needy children and then they return back home and build up leaders for their country."

The choir will perform Monday night at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church located at 809 Harding Street at 7 p.m. But if you don't make it out tonight you can hear a second performance wednesday evening at the Bible Baptist Church at 10th and Austin. Admission is free.
