Better Business Bureau Awards "Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence"

The local Better Business Bureau helped shine the light on a dozen Texoma businesses and organizations as finalists for the "Torch Award for Marketplace Excellence."

One business or organization took home top honors in four categories.

The categories are broken down into small, medium and large businesses and a non-profit category...

This year's winners beginning with the small category: Schenk, Schenk and Haines, Attorneys at Law.

Medium category: the Bowie Bank.

Large: Patterson Auto Group.

And the non-profit winner: Presbyterian Manor.

"These nominees have been through a process and substantiated ethical treatment towards there employees, towards their customers, vendors, suppliers, shareholders, pretty much anybody that they do business with or that they interact with," said BBB President, Monica Horton.

All winners now advance to an international competition
