Wichita Falls Officers Holding Fundraiser Dinner for Officer in Need

Updated: January 22, 2013

Members of the Wichita Falls Police Officers Association, the Wichita County Sheriff's Posse, and the Wichita Falls Professional Fire Fighters Association are all joining forces.

This Friday, they're coming together to help Officer Dale Finnegan with finances, a 5-year veteran of the P.D. and they hope you'll help them too.

Sergeant John Spragins says Finnegan's wife has had a series of major medical problems and they have two children, ages 3 and 5.

Spragins also says this is the first time those three organizations have come together for an event like this.

If you'd like to take part, a barbecue dinner and dance is set for this Friday at the Knights of Columbus Hall off Turtle Creek Road.

It will run from 6 until 11 p.m., and the Rick Wylie Band will be playing. Also, there will be live and silent auctions. To donate items for those auctions, just call any of these numbers: 781-2740, 636-6658 or 733-4273.
