A Massachusetts nanny is charged with assault and battery in connection with the death of a one-year-old child in her care.

34-year-old Aisling Brady is accused in the death of a baby girl who was hospitalized January 14th for what prosecutors say were head injuries and healing bone fractures.

Doctors soon discovered hemorrhaging and swelling of the brain and the girl was declared brain dead two days later. During yesterday's arraignment, Brady pleaded not guilty.

She's behind bars and her bail is half a million dollars. Brady could face additional charges related to the child's death.
