Lawton Police Assist in Prison Assault

Lawton police assist in a disturbance at the Geo Correctional Facility.

All police could tell us is that they were called to help prison guards with a disturbance that broke out between inmates.

We've been told the disturbance possibly involved the stabbing of at least one inmate but a call to confirm that information through Geo Group, Incorporated, the facility's owner, has not been returned.
