Thousands of stomachs are stuffed at this hour and it's all thanks to a fabulously fluffy annual fundraiser.

The University Kiwanis Pancake Festival had volunteers serving up flapjacks and sausage at the J.S. Bridwell Agricultural Center in Wichita Falls.

About 500 volunteers helped man more than two dozen grills to cook pancakes and sausage so customers would leave satisfied.

And Kiwanis Club officials say all dollars raised from this delicious event will help the community.

"We raise all the money that we spend throughout the year here. And it goes to pay for our projects that are local throughout the community, all of the money stays local," said University Kiwanis Club President, Scott Ermis.

Over the years, more and more people have flocked to this fundraiser.

Although coordinators are still tallying up just how well this 57th annual event did.

Officials say last year 11 thousand tickets were sold.

And hopefully this year they'll exceed that number.
