UPDATED: WFPD Investigating Fatal Shooting

Wichita Falls Police are investigating a fatal shooting.
Just before 5:30 a.m. Tuesday Morning police responded to the 1000 block of Woods Street for reports of gunshots. When police arrived, they found a man on the floor of the home who had been shot. Police say that man ... 35 year old David Mays ... is dead.
Sgt. Harold McClure says, "There's no information that would indicate the public is in danger but we are still gathering information on the suspect and it's still early on in the investigation."
No arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation is on going. If you have any information, call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888.

UPDATE:
On 01-29-13, at approximately 5:25 a.m, officers were dispatched to 1018 Woods in reference to a shooting. An unknown male suspect, approximately 6' tall wearing a hooding, made forced entry into the residence and shot 35 year old David Mays.
The suspect fled the scene in an older model dark colored 4 door vehicle and is still being sought by police at this time.
The victim, Mays, was pronounced dead on scene.
