Store Taking Jean Donations to Benefit Faith Mission

By: Melissa Foy
Updated: January 30, 2013
One of every three homeless people in the U.S. is under the age of 18.
Those children and teens don't have the means to provide themselves with clothing.
That's why a popular clothing store is stepping in to help.
Aeropostale, which has a location in Sikes Senter Mall, is collecting jeans.
They can be new or gently worn.
Stores all around the country are participating.
Johsten Miller, assistant manager, says, "We go around, we speak to people, and try to get them to bring in their old jeans; whether they don't fit anymore, they don't like them, maybe even your kids grew out of them.  We collect as many as we can and then we donate them."
If you donate at the Sikes Senter Mall location, your jeans will help people right here in Wichita County: at Faith Mission.
    And--it gets better!
For every pair of jeans you donate, you'll get 25% off a new pair at Aeropostale.
You can donate jeans now through Feb. 10.
