Girl Claims Electra City Employee Assaulted Her on City Property

An Electra city employee is behind bars tonight, charged with forcing a 13-year-old girl to engage in sexual acts with him.
Twenty-five year-old Benjamin Campbell is charged with aggravated sexual assault for an incident which allegedly occurred last October.
An arrest affidavit states a 13-year-old girl says Campbell was supposed to drive her home one night.
Instead, the girl says he took her to the City of Electra Public Works Barn to show her where he worked.
The alleged victim claims Campbell took off her pants and made take part in sexual activity.
She told police she told Campbell to stop several times.
When interviewed about the allegations, police say Campbell called the activity "consensual."
He's jailed on a $100-thousand bond.
