Thereflu and Triaminic Being Recalled Due to Faulty Child-Safety Caps

The company that makes Theraflu and Triaminic is recalling more than two million bottles of cough and cold syrup because of the potential danger that the child safety caps could fail.
Both products just mentioned are involved in the recall. Company officials say four children reportedly ingested the medicine by accident after they were able to get past the child-resistant caps.
Acetaminophen is one of the main ingredients. Doctors say young children can overdose easily on the ingredient and large amounts can cause liver damage.
Most of the bottles affected were manufactured last January.
