Texomans are dealing with another shortage-- the lack of rain that's causing the drought to linger.

But in one Wichita Falls neighborhood, residents saw a lot of water today.

Unfortunately, running down the street is not how folks along Jennings Avenue wanted to see the wet stuff.

When our camera's arrived city crews were busy repairing a leak which happened in front of the home of the Griner family.

And while they were happy to crews fixing the leak they say this was cause for concern for about eight straight hours.

"The water has run out of there all day long and we're very concerned cause we know there is a water shortage and for it to run all day long we're very concerned. The neighbors are very concerned," say Perry Griner.

The Griners say water started bubbling up from the leak around 8 a.m. and continued until crews arrived, which was around 4 p.m.

According to the Griners, crews were delayed getting to their house because they say they told them they were busy repairing other leaks around town which are reportedly caused by dry conditions.
