Folks lined up outside the Knights of Columbus Hall waiting to fill their plates with German sausage, sauerkraut with spare ribs, and all the trimmings.
The annual event draws people from all over for the taste of Germany and volunteers say this year the crowd has been amazing.
"The crowd has been huge, I haven't seen a crowd like this in a couple of years, so we might set a record this year for the number of people we serve," said Jerry Smith one of the volunteers.
In fact it was a record setting crowd of more than 16 hundred people who devoured all 3 thousand pounds of sausage.
Volunteers also say the bake sale by the ladies of Saint Boniface Parish was also a record setter.
