Run the XPRESS to Benefit Wichita Falls Soccer Club

By: Melissa Foy
Updated: February 6, 2013
    Runners...lace up your kicks!
One of Texoma's favorite runs from last year is making it's big return.
"The XPRESS" benefits the Xpress soccer club in Wichita Falls.
Money raised through the fundraiser gives soccer scholarships to area kids who want to play soccer at a higher level but don't have the means to do so.
The soccer club also hopes to raise enough money to eventually build an indoor soccer facility in the city.
The fundraiser run gives athletes three options to choose from: a half-marathon, a 12K, and a 5K.
This year's runs are March 2 at Memorial Stadium.
Everyone who registers gets to enjoy a concert featuring Brother Sharp at the finish line.
Prices for the run go up next week, so make sure to register while those prices are still low.
For registration information, go to www.runthexpress.com
