Are you certifiably extreme?  That's what the city of Wichita Falls wants out of your next event.

This new initiative was kicked off at the Nighthawks Pro Shop in Parker Square as an extension of the Pride in the Falls campaign.

The Nighthawks hosted the announcement with an extreme tailgate party, an example of what they hope to see during the upcoming season.

To become certified as an extreme event, there is criterea to meet.

1. Extreme certification requires two obstacles that seem at odds.
(The example of bicycling 100 miles in the heat is given.)
2. Exceeding what is reasonably expected, well outside the norm.
(Eating contests, extreme tailgating, extreme mental challenges, unusual races, etc.)
3. Submit the details of your Extreme event to Pride in the Fall at:
Prideinthefalls@wf.net

Certified extreme events will receive:
-Use of the 'Certified Extreme' logo
-Additional publicity of your event from Pride in the Falls
-Opportunity for sponsorship of new extreme element
