A man put on probation last year for forging checks of his grandfather is now indicted for allegedly forging more than a dozen checks he stole from his stepfather.
Jesse Ray Hail will go to trial on 10 counts of forgery of a financial instrument.
Officers say Hail stole a book of checks and cashed 19 of them totaling more than $5-thousand.
Hail was sentenced and ordered to pay restitution last May for forging checks of his step-grandfather.
He was sentenced to six months probation and ordered to pay almost $11-thousand dollars in restitution.
