Free Tax Filing Program Busy

Texomans are utilizing the United Way's free tax filing service.
The non-profit agency opened its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program three weeks ago at Sikes Senter Mall.
And coordinators say volunteers there, and at other locations, have been swamped.
As of today volunteers have filed more than 750 returns.
Tax returns are prepared at Sikes Senter Mall on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. They're also prepared at offices at the Martin Luther King, Junior Center and The Hub in East Wichita Falls as well as in Burkburnett, Iowa Park and HenriettaTo schedule an appointment at any of these location call the United Way's 211 Help Line weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
