Updated: February 12, 2013
A frosty weekend fundraiser will have dozens ready to take the plunge into freezing water in Texoma.
Special Olympics Texas is hosting its annual polar plunge this weekend.
Each person who takes a teeth-chattering dip in a cold swimming pool will help raise money for the Special Olympics.
The Polar Plunge is Saturday at Holiday Inn Express off Kell West.
    Participants are still needed!
Cost to take the dip is a $50 donation.
All money raised will be used to provide year-round sports training and competitions for athletes in our area.
Registration starts tomorrow morning at 9 with the freezing fundraiser kicking off at 10.
