The trial of a Wichita Falls woman charged with murder after the death of her father is now delayed.
Twenty-seven year-old Jenna Dickerson is accused in the Nov. 2011 shooting death of 46-year-old John Hamlin.
Dickerson's arrest came three days after Hamlin was found shot to death at a trailer home in northern Clay County.
Jury selection was set for Tuesday.
But, Dickerson's attorney, Price Smith, says he called Judge Roger Towery yesterday asking for the delay after his law partner Bruce Martin suffered a heart attack early Sunday morning.
Smith says Martin is recovering now in the hospital from heart surgery and is expected to stay a few days on his way to recovery.
