Wichita Falls Police arrest one of two men considered armed and dangerous and who police say are connected to a robbery last December.

The search and arrest took place at the Washington Village Apartments on the 1000 block of Redwood Avenue around 3 this afternoon.

Wichita Falls Police Sergeant John Spragins says 18-year-old Jonathan Booker was arrested after a brief swat situatuion at the complex and then taken to the Wichita County Jail.

Spragins says the SWAT team was called out to the scene because of the seriousness of the situation.

He says once communication was initiated with Booker, he gave up without incident.

Police say Booker along with 18-year-old Davontay Johnson were both wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery case on December 18th in the 4700 block of Tammy.

Authorities say the homeowner told police he was beaten repeatedly with a gun, and was shot at while trying to defend himself.

Wichita Falls Police are still searching for Davontay Johnson.

If you have any information on the whereabouts of Johnson, you are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 322-9888.
