Love was in the air early this Valentine's Day for dozens of senior citizens.
The Kitchen, here in Wichita Falls, Opened its doors for a larger than normal lunch crowd.
Dozens donned the color red and took part in games, enjoyed food and had their pictures taken to commemorate the day.
And while all had a great time, today's Valentine's Day party was an even sweeter event for some party-goers.
"We had a cake walk and everybody really tried to win a cake. There were about, oh, a whole bunch of cakes. About 70 I think and I won one," Geraldine Nicholson says with a smile.
While Mrs. Nicholson and dozens of others went home with the added bonus of a cake, everyone at this party got to enjoy a sweet treat-- ice cream and chocolate covered strawberries.
