Work is underway to complete a final report for a facilities assessment of the Wichita Falls Independent School District.
During a board of trustees meeting Thursday afternoon, members voted to fund a study that would assess several areas regarding local schools.
Items in the study will range from determining if the district has sufficient or insufficient space for projected enrollments to determining a master plan to fit the district's needs.
Officials say the facility study would be funded through interest earned from previous bonds.
A complete master plan is expected to be presented to the board in June.
