A Texoma woman is celebrating a huge milestone tonight; one many of us will never have a chance to achieve.

Effie Mae Caffee was born on February 11, 1902; making her a 111 years young.

Effie now owns the title for being the oldest validated living supercentenarian in Texas, the 12th oldest person in the United States and the 61st oldest person in the world.

Effie says she's accomplished a lot in her 111 years.

"I've had a good life," Effie says. "I've traveled a little bit and enjoyed that when I was younger. Now, I enjoy being at home with my friends."

Effie was surrounded by five generations of family at her birthday party.

When asked about her secret to living a long life, Effie says there is none.

She says she's lived a normal life like anyone else.
