Childress ISD Will Grant Employees Access to Firearms on Campus

Another Texoma school district is allowing employees to have access to firearms on campus.

Childress Independent School District board members approved the new security measures at a meeting on Monday after three months of planning and discussion.

School officials say the distict plans for a security company to train school employees during the summer and fall and they say specifics of their plan will not be released to keep their students safe.
