For those looking for a way to save on higher education, it's not too late to sign up for the Texas Tuition Promise Fund.

The program will lock in costs at any Texas public college or university at today's price, to avoid any future increases in tuition and required fees.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs says the program gives parents the flexibility of choosing how much prepaid tuition they want to buy and what payment options to use as they plane ahead for their children's Education.

The deadline to register for the program is on Thursday, February 28th

But, if your child is younger than one years-old the deadline extends to July 31st.

For more information on the financial plan , current prices, and enrollment forms go to www.texastuitionpromisefund.com or call 1-800-445-4723 and dial option 5.
